Running a mailing list demands lots of time. After the rebranding of cyberstorm.mu, I took over the DodoLand mailing list. This year, my goal is to encourage people to post on the DodoLand Mailing list so that we can reach more people in Mauritius and worldwide.

The cyberstorm.mu mailing list is helpful to address many issues in an official style way for traceability and visibility. I am also working towards the Search Engine Optimization of cyberstorm.mu and many other features to enable more audiences to reach us. The “sitemap.xml” is one of the issues that I have addressed.

Currently, the DodoLand mailing list has 29 members and it is open to the public. However, upon introduction, the approval process will be conducted by me and the rule is not hard to digest as other mailing lists in Mauritius. Just be kind to others. Anyone who is not familiar with technology can also ask questions on the mailing list. We are here to help. I am also responsible for moderating channels on the communication layer of cyberstorm.mu. Well, observing what the audience need, and what may go wrong is one of my responsibility and everything is addressed with the team. It is very easy to join the mailing list by clicking the ‘Apply to join group‘.
