The KSK Rollover Hackathon in Mauritius, organized by cyberstorm.mu, aimed to improve internet security by updating the Root-anchors file (root-anchors.xml).
Participants worked on making sure key-signing key (KSK) rollovers happen smoothly, which is important for keeping the global DNS system safe. One of the key successes was getting a pull request (PR #15) merged into ICANN, helping to improve DNSSEC protocols worldwide.
The hackathon showed how teamwork can make the internet more secure and stable by updating important systems like the DNS.
